The drama program aspires to
help children aged 9
through 15 become better actors and actresses while
also enjoying summer activities. Campers will have a
memorable outdoor experience by a lake in Maine.
Morning, afternoon, and evening sessions every day will help campers develop their acting skills. Campers will learn more about acting through participation, instruction, and coaching. Campers will be taught various theater games and acting drills. Every camper will act in several skits, reenactments, and plays that will be staged throughout the week.
Playwriting will be an activity option during the first week of camp.
In addition to drama activities, campers will have optional periods when they can elect to swim, canoe, kayak, or play active field games such as volleyball, kickball, wiffle ball, or dodgeball. Most evenings will conclude with singing, skits, games, and readings around a campfire.
Campers will be closely supervised at night by counselors in the cabin and counselors on patrol between the girls' cabin area and the boys' cabin area and throughout the peninsula.
