Men and Women over the age of 20 are invited to enjoy a week of running at our beautiful camp on the shores of Panther Pond. Our morning and afternoon running sessions will be individually designed so that each runner will have a great week of training for their age, talent, and level of fitness.

The daily running program will be directed by Bowdoin College cross-country Coach Peter Slovenski and highly decorated Masters runner Jerry Levasseur. Each day will include running route options as short as a mile and as long as 10 miles. Paces from 11:00 per mile all the way down to 6:30 per mile will be supported.

  Runners of all abilities are welcome to the camp.  Specially invited groups are competitive Master’s runners and former New England college runners. Evening clinics will be targeted to helping Master’s runners improve their racing.  Social events will be targeted for college alumni running reunions.

 The peninsula is criss crossed by scenic trails that connect to a twenty mile network of trails in the beautiful sebago lake region.

 Coaches will combine traditional and old-fashioned exercises with modern exercise science to help runners improve technique, efficiency, and running economy. Runners will do daily stride drills on the field and hard packed sand beach. Runners will also learn a series of warm-up drills designed to improve running technique and speed.

Cross-training options will include jump rope, medicine ball drills, swimming, fishing, and splitting wood with an axe. Other activity options during the week will include knitting, beach volleyball, canoeing, and kayak paddling. We will also have shopping trips to Freeport and L.L. Bean.
